Starting January 1, 2019, COMO ACQUA took over the management of the Integrated Water Service for its Municipality.

We hereby inform you that as of January 1, 2018, the Como District Office (ATO), based on the guidelines approved by ARERA (Regulatory Authority for Energy Networks and Environment), has introduced significant changes to the tariffs for water services:
• To comply with the new national tariff system, the subsidized bracket for resident domestic users has been modified. This change will result in reduced costs for larger families, thanks to the introduction of the per capita consumption principle, which provides a subsidized quota of 18.25 cubic meters per person annually. For users who have not yet communicated their household size, a quota of 55 cubic meters, corresponding to 3 people, has been applied.;
A new domestic use for non-resident customers has been introduced. We invite you to verify the correct allocation of the use indicated on your bill and to report any discrepancies.;
The fixed fee is now divided into three components: water supply, sewage, and purification, and charged based on the service used.;
• Regarding commercial/artisanal and industrial utilities, the minimum engaged is no longer applied, and the rate charged is only for the volume consumed;
• a new dedicated tariff structure will be applied to all users with authorized industrial and contaminated rainwater discharges.

Since the tariff adjustment takes effect on January 10, 2018, tariff adjustments will be calculated and applied by the end of 2019.
Following the described updates as well, should the data indicated on the bill be inaccurate or incomplete, we invite you to complete and send us the rectification form so that we can apply the correct rate.
