The Emergency Service for reporting malfunctions, irregularities, or interruptions in supply is free from landline and mobile networks and active 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
The Emergency Service is exclusively for receiving reports concerning aqueduct, sewage, and purification services managed by Como Acqua in the province of Como, related to these events:
- Copious water spills, or mild spills with danger of frost;
- Alteration of the potability characteristics of distributed water;
- Failure or occlusion of sewer pipe or sewer conduit;
- Initiation of cleaning and purging interventions following overflows and backflows.
For these four situations of potential danger, the Regulatory Authority for Networks, Energy and the Environment (ARERA) foresees the dispatch of technical personnel to the site. within three hours of the call's arrival.
It is possible to contact the Emergency Services also to report the events described below:
- Unscheduled interruption of service delivery;
- Leakage not copious in the street;
- Meter leakage:
- Problems related to sudden changes in water pressure (low/high);
- Gate valve upstream of the meter blocked;
- Road subsidence, depressions;
- Manhole covers missing or not in elevation;
- Off-site and/or noisy manhole covers;
- Water infiltration into private premises;
- Nuisance odors from sewage or sewage treatment plant;
- Other critical events.
Como Acqua technicians will re-contact the person who made the report (it is therefore essential to leave your personal details with a telephone number and remain reachable). Based on the indicated situation, they will provide information on the timing and methods for resolving the problem.
The operator, in order to better understand the issue, will ask the user a series of specific questions to classify the report and correctly direct the call.
The Emergency Service is constantly updated on outages due to ongoing repairs and will be able to provide users directly with the estimated times for service restoration. For security reasons, please be advised that all calls will be recorded.
