Today is the World Water Day, an observance established by the United Nations in 1992 on the occasion of the Rio Conference on Environment and Development, during which more than 170 countries gathered to discuss global environmental problems and how to address them.

The March 22 each year the entire world takes a break to reflect on how water influences all our lives, with the aim of raising public awareness on the need for sustainable use and reducing waste. Values that Como Water carries on every day.

Water is the foundation of every aspect of our daily lives: from health and hygiene to industrial production. Without it, life on Earth would not be possible. World Water Day reminds us of the importance of conserving water resources and—today more than ever, in light of climate change—the need to safeguard them.
