It took place on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 29, at Villa Gallia, the seat of the Province of Como, The Shareholders' Meeting of Como Acqua, composed of the Mayors of the municipalities in the Como area, who are called to express their opinion on 2025 Financial Statement of the Integrated Water Service Manager. The approved budget paints a picture of a growing company that has consolidated its industrial path over the past year, strengthening its ability to generate value and support strategic investments in a context of full sustainability for the company, the territory, and the Partner Municipalities. In 2025, Como Acqua records a net profit of 6.5 million euros, accompanied by an improvement in all major economic indicators.’EBITDA reaches 27.45 million euros, marking a 60.21% increase compared to 2024 and bringing the EBITDA to 26.71% of production value, compared to 18.61% in the previous year. The production value stands at 102.7 million euros, up 11.51% quarter-on-quarter, confirming the strength of the business model and the company’s ability to operate in accordance with the sector’s regulatory framework.

Alongside economic growth, Como Acqua supported a significant investment effort in 2025, with total interventions amounting to 49.08 million euros. Investments have particularly focused on upgrading water supply and sewage networks, improving treatment plants, and digitizing management systems, with the aim of increasing service efficiency, reducing water losses, and strengthening infrastructure resilience.

«The 2025 Financial Statements – declares the’Chief Executive Officer Enrico Poliero – clearly shows the results of the work carried out on operational management, company reorganization, and investment strengthening. These interventions are essential to guarantee efficient and safe service, also in light of the challenges related to climate change and the introduction of increasingly stringent regulations on water quality. The improvement of all key economic-financial indicators therefore represents the indispensable premise to guarantee the company not only the ability to promptly and effectively implement the ambitious development programs launched within the 2026-2030 industrial plan, but also the opportunity to finalize the objectives of expanding the management perimeter as well as taking over the integrated water service management for the municipalities of Como and Brunate.

During the Assembly, the 2026-2030 Industrial Plan was also recalled, already approved by the Shareholders in recent months, which represents the strategic framework for the company's future development. The Plan envisages the continuation and strengthening of the investment program, ensuring its financial sustainability and consistency with the technical and environmental quality objectives of the service. Four pillars underpin the interventions to be implemented in the coming years: the continuous improvement of drinking water quality, the resilience and interconnection of the network, the evolution of the sewer network and the treatment segment, and finally energy efficiency and technological innovation.

«As Acqua is a solid entity serving municipalities and citizens – emphasized the President Laura Santin -. The 2025 results confirm the validity of the choices made and the work shared with our Partners. The 2026–2030 Industrial Plan projects us into a phase of further growth, in which it will be essential to continue investing in infrastructure, innovation, and sustainability, always keeping the protection of water resources and the quality of service at the center.
