The Como company is participating in the first edition of the culture and creativity festival organized by the Libera Associazione di Casa Brenna Tosatto

These days marks the final part of the Onde Lariane Festival, a series of meetings and events involving prominent figures in culture, journalism, science, art, and technology.

Following the events held on October 7 and 8 in Tremezzina, Menaggio, and Bellagio, the traveling event arrives in the city. It will be right here, more precisely in the Auditorium of Collegio Gallio, that on the morning of Wednesday, November 22, at 10:30 AM, an open lecture for students will be held.

Alongside Prof. Vincenzo Schettini, a well-known content creator and teacher, as well as the creator of the channel “La fisica che ci piace” (Physics We Like), will be Como Acqua, the company that manages the Integrated Water Service for the Province of Como.

An appointment that aims to make a subject usually considered hostile fun and intriguing, but above all to make it understandable thanks to a popular and unconventional approach.

“Our mission—explains Eng. Enrico Pezzoli, President and CEO of Como Acqua—does not end with the protection of water resources. As Managers of the Integrated Water Service, we have a broader responsibility toward citizens, who in our eyes are not mere users, but precious allies. For this reason, throughout the year we implement educational and outreach activities and campaigns that encourage the adoption of responsible behaviors. Weaving this dialogue with society, and above all with the new generations, becomes a central piece to actively involve everyone in the commitment to protect water, a vital yet increasingly scarce element.

Since its first edition, the ONde LARIANE festival aims to become a regular and reference event for a diverse audience, specifically those living on Lake Como, involving an exceptional parterre of guests including journalists Stefano Zurlo, Aldo Cazzullo, Marcello Foa, Manila Alzano, and Maurizio Belpietro, and entrepreneur Federico Marchetti, coining an engaging language with targeted educational interventions and spaces aimed precisely at the so-called Gen Z.

This very non-ordinary and creative approach and the innovative spirit of its organizers—namely the vice president of the Free Association Roberta Bernasconi and the well-known Como journalist Giorgio Gandola (former director of “La Provincia,” “L’Eco di Bergamo,” and Bergamo Tv)—found a perfect meeting of minds in Como Acqua, which enthusiastically agreed to be an active part of the event.
