We have received several reports from users regarding individuals posing as representatives of COMO ACQUA who ask to view the invoices we issued, demanding sums of money.

 

Similarly, we have been reported attempts to access private homes by falsely claiming alleged verification and control activities that Como Acqua is supposedly carrying out on water meters, or on its quality.

Regarding this matter, we inform you that COMO ACQUA HAS NOT AUTHORIZED ANY PARTY TO CARRY OUT SUCH ACTIONS, and we invite you to refuse such requests and report the incident directly to the Local Police.

Instead, it may happen that you are asked to access the meter, if it is located on your private property, to take a reading. The personnel in question may be employees of Como Acqua or a company commissioned by us.

If it is an employee of Como Acqua, you can ask our customer service desks to confirm the work using the contact details found on the website; if, on the other hand, it is personnel from an appointed external company, the details of these operators are communicated in advance to the Local Police of your Municipality, whom you can contact to dispel any suspicion.

In any case, anyone who should come to your door on our behalf is required to show you an identification card complete with a photograph.
